Wash & Care

The Brahmaki Ritual

Our fabrics are natural, delicate, and chosen to last. Cared for gently, your Brahmaki piece stays soft, true in colour and beautiful in shape — for years to come. The same simple ritual works for every fabric, material and style we make.

1

Wash with love

Place your piece inside a washing bag and wash it on a gentle cycle, on its own — never together with other garments.

2

Keep it cool

Use cold water — ideally around 20°C, and never above 30°C — with a mild detergent.

3

Dry with care

Lay it flat on a towel to dry, or hang it carefully.Lighter fabrics such as silk and modal hold their shape and are happy to hang. Heavier fabrics such as EcoVero and EcoVero Satin can lengthen if hung — so lay these flat.

4

Let it breathe

Natural fabrics absorb scent easily — from cooking or other strong odours — so airing goes a long way. Open a window, hang your piece, and let fresh air move through it.For an extra lift, mist lightly with a fresh linen or scented water, leave it overnight, and let the freshness of nature restore your garment.

Care for your Brahmaki, and it will care for you — season after season.
